Unlike traditional Martial Arts, Krav Maga focuses on simplicity and brutality. Under the guidance of Alpha Krav Maga, there is a focus on ensuring that techniques remain effective off the mats and under stress.
Although military derived, Krav Maga still remains approachable enough to train civilians and people with no prior Martial Arts or fight experience. Students learn techniques from multiple disciplines, designed to give them options during a fight.
At WalCo Krav Maga & Personal Protection, we adhere closely to a traditional Krav Maga class structure. This means that the class lasts about an hour in length (may go longer in some instances) and the lesson plan progresses each day.

Classes are comprised of multiple combatives, stress drills, and self-defense techniques, you will always keep moving. Ground fighting and grappling techniques derived from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will also keep your heart pumping while teaching valuable control and escape skills.
Since each class builds off techniques from the previous class, you are always progressing, learning, and building muscle memory. This is what makes Krav Maga easy to comprehend and why it works well under stress.
Krav Maga is more than self-defense and learning a variety of techniques. It is also teaches how to adopt a mindset needed to fight, survive, and overcome challenges.
